Frequently Asked Questions
BOOKING & PROCESS
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: All booking is handled through my Venue profile. This is where you can view my available designs and officially secure your appointment. Click here to book on Venue.
Q: Do I need to leave a deposit?
A: Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit is applied to the final cost of your tattoo. Please see the Studio Rules & Policies for details on how deposits work.
Q: What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
A: I require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment. Your deposit will transfer to the new date. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. This policy is strictly enforced.
Q: Can I see the design before my appointment?
A: To manage my time efficiently and protect my creative process, I do not send out final design drawings ahead of the appointment. We will review the design together at the start of your session, where you can request minor adjustments.
Q: Do you do custom designs?
A: Absolutely. While I have available “flash” designs, my passion is for creating custom pieces that are unique to you. During the booking process, simply select the option for a custom piece and provide as much detail as possible about your idea.
PRICING & PAYMENT
Q: How much do you charge?
A: My pricing is based on an hourly rate, which will be discussed during the booking consultation. The final price depends on the size, complexity, and placement of the tattoo. For smaller pieces, I often provide a flat-rate price.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. A small processing fee may be applied to card transactions.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: I have a strict NO REFUND policy on deposits, completed tattoos, and any retail sales. I stand behind the quality of my work. Please be certain about your decision before moving forward.
THE MOBILE STUDIO
Q: How does the mobile studio work?
A: Once operational, I will be able to bring a fully equipped, professional, and sterile tattoo studio directly to your home. The trailer is self-contained with power, climate control, and all necessary equipment. All you need to provide is a place to park it (a standard driveway is perfect).
Q: Is the mobile studio loud or disruptive?
A: Not at all. The studio is specifically designed for a low-impact footprint. It is well-insulated and soundproofed to ensure a quiet, private, and discreet experience for both you and your neighbors.
Q: How can I follow the progress of the mobile studio build?
A: The best place to follow the journey is on my Facebook page! I will be posting regular updates on the build-out there. Follow the build on Facebook
BEFORE & AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Q: How should I prepare for my tattoo?
A: Be well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten a good meal within a few hours of your appointment. Please avoid blood thinners like alcohol and aspirin for 24 hours prior. Wear appropriate clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
Q: What do you use for aftercare?
A: I highly recommend and use Hustle Butter. I will provide you with a detailed aftercare guide using Hustle Butter and Saniderm (a protective bandage) to ensure your tattoo heals perfectly.
Q: Do you do touch-ups?
A: I stand by my work. Free touch-ups are offered within 3-6 months of your initial appointment, at my discretion. Touch-ups needed due to improper aftercare or client negligence may incur a fee.
MISCELLANEOUS
Q: I have a medical condition. Can I still get tattooed?
A: It depends. Your safety is my priority. Please disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications during the booking process. For certain conditions (e.g., diabetes, pregnancy, autoimmune disorders), I will require a doctor’s note giving you clearance to be tattooed.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Out of respect for the focused, one-on-one nature of the session and the limited space in the studio, I ask that you please keep guests to a maximum of one person. They must be respectful and quiet.
Q: I love my new tattoo! Can I share pictures?
A: Please do! I love seeing my healed work. Share your photos and tag my Facebook page so I can see it! By receiving a tattoo from me, you grant permission for me to photograph and share the work unless you explicitly told me not to at your appointment.
